You know how a ride goes…when you are in the “Zone”, you and the bike are one, the planets have aligned and the world just “moves” with you. Well this year’s Gypsy run was something like that. Yes really! For many of us the blend of scenery, some technical roads were, hell just plain fun! The ride engineered by Keiller Gowans this year was excellent.
Steinbeck was right…this trip was the epitome of riding roads that were for everyone! This ride took us on some of the best riding roads in N America. Thank you Keiller, we had a great time. The planned dinners in the evenings were perfect. We all got to share what we experienced that ride day. I could not have asked for better company or better friends on that ride. I met some new people and renewed old friendships. We experienced varying ride conditions, rain, sleet, hail, fog, cold & yes, deer. On the way home, mountain sheep…we had it all and it was great! Not just ride but an adventure and I will do it again.
I encourage others in the district to do the same! Join us for the 2020 Gypsy Run!
As you are all aware, we have launched a recruitment drive. All of you received your individual recruitment kits. We have had some immediate success and there already is a chapter in the lead for the “Most Recruits” If you need another kit, just advise your chapter director and we will get them to you.
